Simple Energy, a homegrown electric two-wheeler brand, is making headlines in India. The company has finally revealed the price of its much-awaited electric scooter, the Simple Ultra, and has also started deliveries.
The biggest highlight of this scooter is its impressive range. It can run up to 400 km (IDC) on a single full charge, making it the longest-range electric scooter in India right now.
This makes it a strong option for riders who want to travel longer distances without frequent charging.
Powerful Performance and Speed
The Simple Ultra is built for both speed and performance. It comes with a powerful 6.5 kWh battery that helps it achieve a top speed of 115 km/h.
Not just that, the scooter offers quick acceleration as well. It can go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.77 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric scooters in the country. In fact, it is currently the second-fastest model, just behind the company’s own earlier scooter, the Simple One.
Features, Safety and Price
In terms of features, the Simple Ultra doesn’t disappoint. It comes with four levels of traction control, which helps improve safety and stability on different road conditions.
For rider convenience, the scooter also gets a large 7-inch touchscreen display. This screen shows navigation, ride data, and other important information in a clear and easy way.
The company has priced the Simple Ultra at ₹2,34,999 (ex-showroom). Customers can book the scooter through official showrooms or the company’s website.
Expanding Showroom Network
Simple Energy is also working on expanding its presence across India. Currently, the company has around 70 showrooms and service centers in major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
In the coming months, the company plans to grow its network further by entering cities like Nagpur, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar. This expansion will make it easier for more customers to access sales and service support.
