Indian Railways has taken a big step to manage the extra rush during summer vacations.

A new tri-weekly special train will run between Khatipura Jaipur and Subedarganj to help passengers travel more easily.

This special train will run from May 3 to June 7, completing 16 trips in total.

From Subedarganj, the train will depart every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9:00 PM and reach Khatipura at 9:40 AM the next day.

From Khatipura, it will run every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from May 4 to June 8, leaving at 6:30 PM and reaching Subedarganj at 11:00 AM the next day.

Important Stops on the Route

During the journey, the train will stop at several key stations.

These include Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Etawah, Tundla, Idgah, Bharatpur, Bandikui, and Dausa.

This will make travel easier for passengers from multiple cities along the route.

Train Delay Causes Trouble for Passengers

Passengers also faced inconvenience recently due to a delayed train.

The Ajmer–Sealdah train via Jaipur arrived about three hours late.

Railway officials said the delay happened due to issues with the link rake, which affected the schedule.

Major Alert: 60 Trains to Be Affected

Passengers travelling to or from Jaipur should be careful while planning their journey.

Technical work will take place at Kanakpura station from May 3 to May 15.

Because of this, around 60 trains will be affected.

19 trains will be partially cancelled

23 trains will run on alternate routes

6 trains will be rescheduled

Cancellations and Route Changes

Several important trains will face changes during this period.

The Bhopal–Jodhpur train will be cancelled on multiple dates between May 3 and May 14.

Similarly, the Jodhpur–Bhopal train will also remain cancelled on selected days.

The Ajmer–Gangapur City train and its return trip will be cancelled on May 12.

Many other trains, including Shatabdi and long-distance express trains, will be partially cancelled or diverted.

For example, the Delhi Sarai–Bandra Terminus train on May 12 will run on a different route via Rewari, Ringas, and Phulera, with additional stops at Narnaul and Neemkathana.

Plan Your Travel in Advance

Due to these changes, passengers are advised to check train schedules before travelling.

With multiple cancellations, delays, and route changes, planning ahead can help avoid last-minute problems.
