The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, aimed at providing crucial support to farmers, is set to disburse its 15th installment.
This timely financial boost is coinciding with assembly elections in five states: Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram, as recently announced by the Election Commission.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: A Lifeline for Farmers
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers receive an annual benefit of Rs 6,000, disbursed in 14 installments.
Each installment amounts to Rs 2,000, with one installment released every four months throughout the year.
Ensure Your Eligibility: Deadline Approaching
Farmers who are beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana must have completed e-KYC, ensured their land details are properly linked, and connected their bank accounts with Aadhaar.
It’s crucial to accomplish these tasks before October 15, 2023, to avail of the scheme’s benefits. Failure to do so will make farmers ineligible for the assistance.
E-KYC: A Mandatory Step to Prevent Fraud
To combat fraudulent claims, the government has made e-KYC mandatory for PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries.
If you’ve not completed this process yet, you can do so by visiting the official farmer portal pmkisan.gov.in, a nearby Common Service Center (CSC), or your bank.
