Mahindra launched the updated version of its compact SUV, the XUV 300, earlier this year, giving it a new name: Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The SUV has been well-received by customers, with consistent sales in recent months. However, Mahindra has now announced a price hike for this popular model.
According to a report from Rushlane, the ex-showroom prices for various variants of the Mahindra XUV 3XO have increased by up to ₹30,000, effective from October 6.
Price Increase Details for Different Variants
The launch prices of the MX3 Pro, AX7, and AX7L petrol models remain unchanged. However, the base MX1 and mid-spec AX5 petrol variants have seen a price increase of ₹30,000.
Variants such as the MX2 Pro, MX3, and AX5L have received a price hike of up to ₹25,000. On the diesel front, the MX2 Pro, MX3, and AX5 variants have seen a ₹10,000 increase.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO competes with other popular SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite in the market.
Powertrain and Features of Mahindra XUV 3XO
The Mahindra XUV 3XO offers a choice of engines. The 1.2-liter petrol engine produces 110bhp
and 200Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter diesel engine delivers 117bhp and 300Nm of torque. There is also a 1.2-liter TGDI turbo petrol engine, which generates 130bhp
and 250Nm of torque. Customers can choose between automatic and manual transmission options.
In terms of features, the XUV 3XO comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, wireless phone charging, connected car technology, and a panoramic sunroof.
For safety, the SUV is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS technology.
Mahindra initially launched the XUV 3XO at prices ranging from ₹7.49 lakh to ₹15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
