The demand for electric scooters is growing rapidly in India. Keeping this in mind, Keeway India has launched its first premium performance electric scooter, called the Keeway Hypevolt-R.
The scooter has been introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.99 lakh. Customers can book it by paying a token amount of ₹5,000.

Unique Design with a Premium Look
The Keeway Hypevolt-R has a completely different design compared to regular scooters. Instead of a flat floorboard, it comes with a center spine design, giving it a sporty appearance.
The scooter has a flat seat that provides a comfortable ride for both the rider and the pillion. Its headlights are placed vertically on the front apron, while the shorter rear section gives it a muscular, bobber-style look.

The Keeway Hypevolt-R offers several premium features that are usually seen in luxury vehicles.
It comes with a 5-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity and navigation maps. The scooter also includes keyless start, Keyless Go, traction control, and ABS on both wheels.
For better riding on slopes, it gets hill hold and hill descent control. Safety is further improved with a reverse camera, blind-spot detection, and multiple Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features.
Powerful Performance and High Speed
The Keeway Hypevolt-R is designed to deliver strong performance. Its electric motor produces around 16 bhp of power.
Thanks to this powerful motor, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.3 seconds. It has a top speed of 115 km/h.

Up to 180 km Range on a Full Charge
The scooter is equipped with two removable batteries, allowing users to remove and charge them conveniently inside their home or apartment.
Together, the batteries offer a total capacity of 5 kWh. According to the company, the scooter can travel up to 180 km on a full charge.
The batteries can be charged from 0% to 80% in just 3 hours. The scooter also comes with 14-inch alloy wheels for better performance on rough roads and offers a 27-liter luggage compartment for extra storage.
