BSNL to Launch Free Live TV Service to Compete with Jio and Airtel

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a major telecom provider in India, is preparing to launch its new Live TV service.

The company has already started testing this service in Madhya Pradesh, where it is currently available to a select group of users.

The standout feature of BSNL’s Live TV service is that it offers unlimited data, which will not be counted towards the user’s subscription plan limit.

Unlimited Data for BSNL Live TV

BSNL’s Live TV service will be provided through its Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connection. The service allows users to stream content without worrying about data consumption, as the data used for watching Live TV will not be deducted from their FTTH plan.

This initiative comes as BSNL aims to compete with Airtel and Jio, especially after several lakh users migrated to BSNL following recent price hikes by these competitors.

App Availability and Platform Support

The BSNL Live TV app, named “BSNL Live TV App,” is currently available for BSNL users in Madhya Pradesh and has been published by WeConnect.

However, there is still some uncertainty regarding which platforms the app will support, such as the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Users can learn more by giving a missed call to 9424700333 or downloading the app on Android TV, which supports version 10 and above.

BSNL is positioning this new service to attract more users and strengthen its market presence against competitors.
