New Delhi:
BSNL has introduced a range of new recharge plans offering benefits like extended validity, unlimited calling, and affordable data packs.
Many users switched to BSNL in July due to the high costs of private telecom plans.
The government-owned telecom company is also expanding its 4G services nationwide and is in the early stages of launching 5G.
New Recharge Plan Highlights
One notable plan is the ₹997 recharge option, which provides a validity of 160 days and includes 320GB of data.
This plan offers 2GB of high-speed data per day, 100 free SMS daily, and unlimited calling on any network.
It also includes free roaming across India and features such as Hardy Games, Zing Music, and BSNL Tunes.
5G Testing and Future Plans
BSNL is not just focusing on enhancing its 4G services but is also gearing up to introduce 5G.
The company has installed numerous new mobile towers to support 4G and has begun testing its 5G network.
A full rollout of 5G services is anticipated in the coming months.
Additionally, MTNL customers in Delhi and Mumbai will soon benefit from BSNL’s 4G infrastructure.
MTNL plans to use BSNL’s 4G network under a 10-year service agreement, announced on August 14, 2024, which allows for mutual cancellation with a six-month notice.
This collaboration is expected to enhance services for a large number of customers in the capital and financial hub of the country.
