Ather Unveils New Family Electric Scooter “Ather Rizta” Starting at Rs 1.10 Lakh

Ather Energy, the pioneering EV manufacturer, has introduced its latest offering tailored specifically for Indian families – the Ather Rizta electric scooter.

With an attractive starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom),

the Ather Rizta promises a plethora of advanced features to enhance the riding experience.

Key Features:

The Ather Rizta comes equipped with a range of connected features, including skid control and WhatsApp integration on the dashboard.

Building upon the success of previous Ather models, it incorporates features such as fall-safe technology, emergency stop signal, and theft detection.

Ather’s Journey:

Founded in 2013 by IIT graduates Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain, Ather Energy has witnessed remarkable growth over the years.

With impressive sales figures of 77,000 scooters in FY23 and 1.08 lakh scooters in FY24, Ather has continually pushed boundaries with its innovative offerings, including the acclaimed Ather 450 series and the premium Apex scooter.

Family-Oriented Design:

Breaking new ground, the Ather Rizta marks the brand’s foray into the family scooter segment.

Boasting a spacious seat, backrest, elevated grab handle, and ample storage space of 34 liters, it ensures comfort and convenience for riders and passengers alike.

Additionally, the scooter features a frunk bag with 22 liters of storage under the seat,

along with a multipurpose charger in the boot space for added utility.

Variants and Range:

The Ather Rizta will be available in two models – Rizta S and Rizta Z, offering three variants with battery capacities ranging from 2.9 kWh to 3.7 kWh.

The 2.9 kWh variant boasts an estimated range of 123 kilometers, while the 3.7 kWh variant can cover up to 160 kilometers on a single charge.

Pricing and Booking Details:

Priced competitively, the Rizta S starts at Rs 1.10 lakh,

while the Rizta Z variants are priced at Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh for the 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh models respectively.

Bookings for the Ather Rizta are now open, with deliveries scheduled to commence in June. Ather Energy has also unveiled the Halo helmet with advanced connected features to complement the Rizta experience.
