The Sri Lankan government has extended its visa-free entry offer for select countries, including India, until May 31 this year.
Indian tourists, along with travelers from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Russia, and Japan, can visit Sri Lanka for up to 30 days without a visa.
However, visitors need to apply for a visa online through the official website, www.srilankaevisa.lkstay, before arriving in Sri Lanka.
Thailand’s Visa Extension
Thailand has extended its visa service for Indian and Taiwanese tourists until November 11.
This extension allows Indian travelers to enter Thailand without a visa until the specified date.
Travelers from India and Taiwan can enjoy visa-free entry for up to 30 days per visit.
Prime Minister Shretha Thavisin confirmed this extension after a cabinet meeting, ensuring continued ease of travel for Indian tourists.
Iran Removes Visa Requirement
As of February 4 this year, Iran has lifted the visa requirement for Indian passport holders,
allowing them to travel to the country for up to 15 days without a visa.
This change opens up new opportunities for Indian travelers to explore Iran’s rich cultural heritage and scenic landscapes hassle-free.
