This new flight route is set to begin operations on October 2, 2023, and will be the sole direct flight connecting the bustling metropolis of Delhi with the picturesque Itanagar.

Vinay Malhotra, Global Sales Chief at IndiGo, emphasized the significance of launching direct flights between Itanagar and Delhi, stating, “In addition to our existing direct flights between Itanagar and Mumbai as well as Kolkata, we are delighted to introduce direct connectivity between Itanagar and Delhi.
With this new route, we aim to bolster connectivity between the commercial hub of Delhi and the city of Itanagar.
This initiative is intended to stimulate job opportunities, promote tourism, and drive economic activity.”

The flight number for the Delhi-Itanagar route will be 6E5927, operating on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Departure from Delhi Airport is scheduled for 9:10 am, with arrival at Itanagar’s Doni Polo Airport at 12 noon.
