British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched its latest offering, the Triumph Speed 400, in the Indian market.
With an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 lakh, this bike is positioned as the most budget-friendly model in Triumph’s lineup.
However, it’s important to note that this special price is only applicable to the first 10,000 customers.
After reaching this milestone, the price will increase to Rs 2.33 lakh.
In the Indian market, the Triumph Speed 400 will face competition from bikes like the KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 GS, Bajaj Dominar, Royal Enfield 350 cc range, and the Jawa Yezdi model.
Performance and Engine Specifications
Powering the Triumph Speed 400 is a liquid-cooled, 398cc, single-cylinder engine.
This engine, named TR-series, generates 40 horsepower at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.
Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, the bike delivers a thrilling riding experience.
Design and Features
The Triumph Speed 400 showcases a neo-retro design, blending classic and modern elements.
It features a circular headlight, a partially digital instrument cluster, a stylish curved fuel tank, comfortable step-up seats, and a side-slung exhaust.
The bike is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, adding to its sporty appeal.
Customers can choose from three different color options to suit their style.
