Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest producer of two-wheelers, has announced that it will raise the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters starting from July 3, 2023.
The company stated that the price hike would be approximately 1.5 percent, varying based on the model and market.
This increase comes after the previous price adjustment in April, which was due to the implementation of new OBD2 norms.
Price Hike in Response to Market Factors
In a recent statement, Hero MotoCorp explained that the decision to increase prices is part of their regular price review process.
The company took into account various factors, including input costs, in determining the adjustment.
This price hike comes just before the upcoming festive season.
Introduction of New Models
Hero MotoCorp has recently launched the Passion Plus in the entry-level commuter segment.
Additionally, the company unveiled the Xtreme 160 4V as its new premium commuter motorcycle, adding to its product lineup.
Anticipated Launch of Exciting Bikes
This year, Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch a range of updated and all-new motorcycles, including some highly anticipated models that customers have been eagerly awaiting.
Among them is the Karizma XMR 210.
The much-awaited Hero-built Harley-Davidson X440 will be the first to be released, coinciding with the price hike on July 3, 2023.
