Amazon India has yet to make an official announcement about the Prime Day sale in the country. However, the highly anticipated sale has already started grabbing attention.
A recent report has leaked the expected dates for the Amazon Prime Day sale in India.
According to the report from MySmartPrice, the sale is likely to commence after July 15.
It is speculated that the Amazon Prime Day sale will kick off on July 15 and last for two days, ending on July 16, 2023.
Curiously, when searching for Amazon Prime Day on Google, the search result leads to an Amazon webpage that does not disclose the exact dates.
There are rumors that the company will announce the sale dates in the near future.
Last year, Amazon hosted the Prime Day sale on July 23 and 24, offering exclusive deals and discounts on various products including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, and clothing.
Prime members were also eligible for special bank offers during the sale. In 2022, the e-commerce giant collaborated with SBI and ICICI Bank to provide discounts to customers.
Similar partnerships are expected to be in place this year as well.
In India, the price for Amazon Prime membership is ₹1,499. The membership comes with several benefits,
including one-day delivery, early access to sales, free access to Amazon Music, 5% cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card, and more.
Additionally, earlier this month, Amazon India introduced the Prime Lite membership, priced at ₹999, as a more affordable alternative to the standard Prime membership.
