Ather Konark has been launched in Delhi with a starting price of ₹79,999. The new electric scooter is based on Ather Energy’s EL platform and is available in six variants under the Konark S and Konark Z product lines.
The scooter offers an IDC range of up to 200 km and has been designed for everyday riding on Indian roads. Ather has also set a service interval of 10,000 km or around one year, whichever comes earlier.
Ather Konark Gets New Battery
The Ather Konark comes with the company’s fifth-generation BedRock battery across all variants. Ather is offering an extended battery warranty of 10 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes earlier, along with a 70 percent battery health guarantee.
The scooter also gets an Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS), which adjusts braking force between the front and rear wheels based on road conditions. Regenerative braking is also used to support braking performance and stability.
Key Features of Ather Konark
The scooter comes with several features aimed at making everyday riding more convenient. Its Magic Key system offers a keyless experience with SmartWake, automatic locking and remote scooter location features.
AutoPop provides hands-free access to the under-seat storage, while AirWalk uses gentle motor torque to help riders move the scooter manually in tight parking spaces.
The Konark gets an integrated onboard charger and charging cable. Buyers can also opt for a 450W offboard charger, which can work with the built-in 450W charger to provide combined 900W charging and reduce home charging time by half.
Wheels and Metal Body
The Ather Konark features a 14-inch front alloy wheel and a 12-inch rear alloy wheel, along with a 1,352 mm wheelbase. It also gets long-travel suspension at both ends for everyday riding.
The scooter is Ather’s first model to feature a metal rear panel and a steel unibody chassis. Its sequential gear-drive transmission is designed to provide smooth and quiet power delivery.
Ather Konark Price in Delhi
Ather has priced the new Konark from ₹79,999, with the company highlighting its pricing for customers in Delhi. Ather Energy Chief Business Officer Ravneet S. Phokela said the price is expected to make the scooter more attractive to Delhi customers and support the company’s electric mobility expansion.
With six variants, a claimed range of up to 200 km and features including fast home charging, the Konark is positioned as an electric scooter designed for regular urban use.
