The ₹22,568.94 crore public issue opened for subscription on Thursday and will remain open until September 21.
NSE IPO Day 1 Subscription Update
NSE IPO Day 1 saw bids for 2.68 crore shares against 8.86 crore shares available for subscription by around 1:20 pm, taking the overall subscription level to about 30% at that time.
By 2 pm, the issue was reported to be 33% subscribed.
The non-institutional investor category recorded 43% subscription, while the retail investor portion stood at 32% at 1:20 pm.
Subscription figures can change throughout the bidding period as investors continue to place applications.
NSE IPO Price Band and Lot Size
The NSE IPO has a price band of ₹1,700 to ₹1,785 per share, with the issue consisting entirely of an offer for sale.
The IPO comprises up to 12.64 crore existing equity shares being sold by existing shareholders.
At the upper end of the price band, the issue values NSE at around ₹4.42 lakh crore. Since this is an offer for sale, NSE itself will not receive the IPO proceeds; the money, after issue expenses, will go to the selling shareholders.
The minimum application lot is eight shares. At the upper price of ₹1,785, an investor would need ₹14,280 for one lot, before applicable charges.
NSE IPO GMP Today and Listing Details
The NSE IPO grey market premium was reported at around 9% on September 17.
One market report cited a GMP of ₹162, which implied a notional price of about ₹1,947 per share against the upper issue price of ₹1,785.
Grey market premium is unofficial and can change before listing. It does not guarantee the actual listing price or returns and should not be treated as an official NSE or stock-market indicator.
The IPO will close on September 21. Share allotment is expected on September 22, while NSE shares are scheduled to begin trading on September 24.
NSE IPO Anchor Investors
Before the public issue opened, NSE raised ₹6,746.2 crore from anchor investors.
LIC was among the major investors, alongside global and domestic institutional names including Fidelity, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and HDFC Life Insurance.
Investors tracking the issue should distinguish between official subscription data and grey-market indications.
The final subscription figure will be available after the bidding window closes on September 21.
