Nissan Magnite Price Hike has made the popular budget SUV more expensive in India. The company has increased prices across the range by ₹1,000 to ₹3,000, while the Tekna petrol MT dual-tone variant has reportedly received a hike of up to ₹6,500.
Nissan Magnite Gets New Prices
The price increase applies to Magnite variants with both engine options and manual and automatic transmissions. However, the MT and AMT Visia, Visia Plus and Acenta CNG trims are not included in this price hike.
The highest reported increase is for the Tekna petrol MT dual-tone variant, where the price has gone up by up to ₹6,500. The updated ex-showroom prices start from ₹5.68 lakh for the MT Visia variant.
Nissan Magnite Price List
The Nissan Magnite MT Visia is priced at ₹5.68 lakh, while the Visia+ costs ₹6.22 lakh. The Acenta is priced at ₹6.83 lakh, N-Connecta at ₹7.46 lakh, Tekna at ₹8.39 lakh and Tekna+ at ₹8.72 lakh.
The Turbo MT N-Connecta costs ₹8.77 lakh, while the Turbo MT Tekna and Turbo MT Tekna+ are priced at ₹9.57 lakh and ₹9.91 lakh, respectively.
The Magnite Kuro Special Edition starts at ₹7.81 lakh for the MT New Edition. The EZ-Shift Kuro Edition costs ₹8.36 lakh, while the Turbo MT Kuro Edition and Turbo CVT Kuro Edition cost ₹9.12 lakh and ₹9.99 lakh, respectively.
The EZ-Shift Visia is priced at ₹6.27 lakh, while the Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+ cost ₹7.38 lakh, ₹8.01 lakh, ₹8.94 lakh and ₹9.27 lakh, respectively.
The Turbo X-Tronic CVT Acenta costs ₹9.26 lakh, while the N-Connecta is priced at ₹9.70 lakh. The Turbo X-Tronic CVT Tekna and Tekna+ cost ₹10.65 lakh and ₹10.99 lakh, respectively.
Nissan Magnite Engine and Features
The Magnite is available with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 71bhp of power and 96Nm of torque and is offered with a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AMT.
The turbo petrol engine is available with a 6-speed MT or CVT. The naturally aspirated petrol engine also gets a CNG option.
Features include a wireless smartphone charger, 360-degree camera, Around View Monitor, new i-Key, walk-away lock and remote engine start with a range of up to 60 metres. The SUV also offers 540 litres of boot space.
Magnite Gets 5-Star Adult Safety Rating
The Magnite received a 5-star adult safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test and a 3-star rating for child safety. The updated model also gets safety features including six airbags and Electronic Stability Control.
The Magnite is positioned against SUVs such as the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger and Maruti Brezza. Nissan’s portfolio also includes the Gravit MPV, Tecton and X-Trail SUV.
