Maruti Eeco Gets ₹5,000 Price Hike, Check New Price

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco has become more expensive as the company continues to revise the prices of its cars. According to a CarWale report, the Eeco has received a price hike of up to ₹5,000.

The Eeco is one of the most affordable people-mover vehicles in India. Despite the latest increase, its starting price remains at around ₹5.28 lakh ex-showroom.

Maruti Eeco Gets Costlier

The Maruti Eeco is available in two main variants, Standard (O) and AC (O), along with 5-seater and 6-seater options.

The company has increased the prices of most petrol and CNG variants by up to ₹5,000. However, the special Star Edition variants with petrol and CNG powertrains have not received a price increase.

After the latest revision, the Eeco is priced between around ₹5.28 lakh and ₹6.46 lakh ex-showroom.

The van also offers a third-row seating option, making it suitable for customers who need more passenger space.

Eeco Sales Increased in August

The Eeco continued to see strong demand in August 2026. The company sold 11,961 units during the month, compared with 10,785 units in July.

This represents a month-on-month sales increase of nearly 11%. The Eeco was also the best-selling model in the van segment during August.

Between January and June 2026, the petrol version of the Eeco recorded sales of 35,349 units.

Maruti Eeco Engine and Mileage

The Maruti Eeco is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The petrol version produces 80.76 PS of power and 104.5 Nm of torque.

The CNG version produces 71.65 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque. The petrol model offers claimed mileage figures ranging from 19.7km/l to 20.2km/l, while the CNG version offers 26.78km/kg to 27.05km/kg.

Six Airbags Now Standard

The Eeco has also received safety updates. It now gets six airbags along with features such as ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, an engine immobiliser and a seat belt reminder.

The updated model also gets a new steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

Maruti Suzuki has also recently launched the facelifted Baleno, which starts at ₹6.10 lakh. The updated Baleno gets changes to both its exterior and interior.
