Maruti Suzuki India is set to reward its shareholders with a final dividend of ₹140 per share for the financial year 2025-26. The company had announced the dividend in April 2026 along with its annual financial results.
The ₹140 payout is the highest dividend announced by Maruti Suzuki so far. However, investors need to pay attention to the record date and ex-dividend date to understand who will be eligible for the payment.
Maruti Suzuki’s Highest-Ever Dividend
Maruti Suzuki has announced a dividend of ₹140 per share with a face value of ₹5. This translates to a dividend of 2,800% based on the face value of the share.
It is the biggest dividend in the company’s history. In comparison, Maruti Suzuki had paid a dividend of ₹135 per share for FY 2024-25.
The company has fixed August 7, 2026, as the record date for the final dividend.
Who Will Get the ₹140 Dividend?
Maruti Suzuki shares will trade ex-dividend on August 7. Investors buying the stock on or after the ex-dividend date will not be eligible for this dividend.
Only shareholders who meet the eligibility requirements by the record date will receive the ₹140-per-share payout.
