Mobile recharge costs have been rising steadily, making it harder for users to find affordable plans.
In the middle of these price hikes, government-owned telecom company BSNL has introduced a budget-friendly postpaid plan that costs just ₹199 per month.
The plan is aimed at users who want to avoid frequent recharges while enjoying calling, data, and SMS benefits at a lower monthly cost.
What Does BSNL’s ₹199 Postpaid Plan Offer?
BSNL’s ₹199 postpaid plan includes several benefits that make it a strong option for light and moderate mobile users.
Under this plan, subscribers get 25GB of high-speed data every month, along with unlimited voice calling across India.
The plan also includes 100 SMS per day, allowing users to stay connected without any additional charges for regular messaging.
No Daily Data Limit and Data Rollover Benefit
One of the biggest advantages of this plan is that there is no daily data usage limit.
This means you can use the entire 25GB of monthly data whenever you need it instead of being restricted by a daily cap.
If you don’t use all your data in a month, the remaining data is carried forward to the next billing cycle.
Users can accumulate up to 75GB of rollover data.
If the monthly data limit is exhausted, additional data is available at a charge of 1 paisa per MB.
Why This Plan Can Be Better Than Prepaid
Many prepaid plans with similar benefits now cost ₹300 or more and usually come with 28 days of validity.
In comparison, BSNL’s ₹199 postpaid plan offers a 30-day billing cycle at a lower price, making it a more affordable choice for many users.
Another advantage is that users don’t have to worry about recharging before their plan expires. Since it’s a postpaid connection, the bill is generated at the end of the billing cycle.
Combined with unlimited calling, flexible data usage, and the rollover feature, the ₹199 postpaid plan can be a practical option for users looking to reduce their monthly mobile expenses.
