Airtel has introduced a new Rs 200 prepaid add-on plan for users who want extra data and entertainment.

The pack comes with 30GB of 4G data, unlimited 5G data (where available), and free access to popular OTT platforms.

The new plan is expected to compete directly with Jio’s Rs 200 OTT data pack, which offers similar benefits.

What Does Airtel’s Rs 200 Plan Offer?

The new Airtel add-on pack is valid for 28 days and includes:

30GB of high-speed 4G data

Unlimited 5G data in 5G coverage areas

Validity of 28 days

Since this is an add-on plan, users must already have an active regular prepaid plan to use it.

Once the 30GB data limit is exhausted, additional data will be charged at 50 paise per MB.

Free OTT Subscription Included

One of the biggest highlights of this plan is its entertainment benefits.

Users will get a 28-day JioHotstar Mobile subscription, which is worth Rs 149.

This allows them to watch live sports, movies, Hotstar Specials and other content on their mobile devices.

The plan also includes Airtel Xstream Play Premium for 28 days.

Through this subscription, users can access content from more than 18 OTT platforms, including:

Sony LIV

Lionsgate Play

Aha Premium

Chaupal

SunNXT

And several other streaming services

These benefits make the plan attractive for users who regularly stream movies, TV shows and live sports.

How Does It Compare with Jio’s Rs 200 Plan?

Airtel’s new pack competes directly with Jio’s Rs 200 OTT Pass.

Jio’s plan also offers:

30GB of data

Unlimited 5G data

28-day validity

Access to more than 15 OTT platforms

Over 1,000 live TV channels

The OTT services available with Jio’s plan include JioHotstar, Sony LIV, Prime Video, YouTube Premium, ZEE5 and several others.

Which Plan Should You Choose?

If you’re already an Airtel user and want extra data along with OTT access, the new Rs 200 add-on pack offers a good combination of high-speed data and entertainment.

On the other hand, Jio users can opt for the Rs 200 OTT Pass, which provides similar data benefits along with access to multiple OTT platforms and live TV channels.

Your choice will ultimately depend on your telecom operator and the streaming services you use the most.
