Motorola is all set to launch its new smartphone, the Moto G77 Power, in India on July 8.

The phone will be part of the company’s popular G Power series, which focuses mainly on long battery life.

The device is already listed as “Coming Soon” on Flipkart and will also be available through Motorola’s official website and offline stores after launch.

While the price has not been revealed yet, the biggest highlight is clearly its massive 7,000mAh battery.

Massive Battery Built for Heavy Users

The Moto G77 Power’s main attraction is its 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can last up to three days on a single charge under certain usage conditions.

This makes it a strong option for users who travel frequently or do not want to charge their phones every day.

The phone also supports TurboPower fast charging through a USB Type-C port, meaning users can quickly top up the battery when needed instead of waiting for long charging times.

Display, Design and Durability

The smartphone comes with a 6.72-inch FHD+ display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming.

It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and includes a centered punch-hole design for the front camera. Motorola has also given it a “premium” design with a square camera module at the back.

The Moto G77 Power will be available in three color options:

Magenta Pink

Deep Blue

Dark Grey

The device also comes with a military-grade durability rating, which means it is designed to handle drops and rough usage better than regular budget smartphones.

Camera, Audio and Software Experience

On the camera front, Motorola has made a key change. Instead of a 108MP sensor, the Moto G77 Power features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and LED flash.

For selfies, it offers a 32MP front camera.

The phone also continues to support features that enhance multimedia use, including:

3.5mm headphone jack

Dolby Atmos support

Hi-Res Audio certification

Dual stereo speakers

This makes it a strong choice for users who enjoy music, videos, or wired headphones.

Software and Smart Features

The Moto G77 Power runs on Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola’s Hello UI on top.

The company has also confirmed that it will receive at least one major update to Android 17.

It also includes Smart Connect, allowing users to sync the phone with laptops and tablets for features like file sharing, app streaming, and multi-device connectivity.

Should You Wait for the Moto G77 Power?

The Moto G77 Power looks designed for users who prioritize battery life and daily performance over flagship-level specs.

With its large battery, smooth 120Hz display, and stereo speakers, it appears well-suited for heavy users, travelers, and media consumers.

However, the final decision will depend on its price, which will be announced on July 8 at launch.
