July is just around the corner, and several important changes could take effect from July 1, 2026. These updates may affect Aadhaar users, LPG consumers, vehicle owners, and credit card holders.

Here is a look at the key changes that you should know about.

Aadhaar Email Update Becomes Free

There is good news for Aadhaar holders. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is introducing a new facility from July 1.

Users will be able to update their email ID in Aadhaar free of cost. At present, a fee of ₹75 is charged for this service.

The free update facility will remain available for six months, from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

LPG, CNG and ATF Prices May Change

Fuel prices are usually reviewed at the beginning of every month. Government oil marketing companies revise LPG cylinder prices on the first day of each month.

As a result, domestic and commercial LPG cylinder prices may change from July 1. Recent tensions in the Middle East have already affected fuel prices in many markets.

Apart from LPG, CNG and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices may also be revised. Last month, prices of both fuels were increased, so consumers will be watching closely for the next update.

New Rule for HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card Users

HDFC Bank has announced a change for Regalia Gold Credit Card holders.

To enjoy free access to domestic airport lounges in the next quarter, customers will now need to spend at least ₹60,000 in the previous quarter.

Those who do not meet the spending requirement may not be eligible for complimentary lounge access.

What Should You Do?

If you use Aadhaar, LPG services, CNG vehicles, or an HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card, it is a good idea to stay updated on these changes.

Keeping track of the new rules can help you avoid extra charges and make better financial decisions from the beginning of July.
