If you are planning to buy a Samsung budget 5G smartphone, you may need to rethink your timing. Samsung has increased the prices of its popular models — the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G — in India.
The company has hiked the price of all variants by ₹500. The new prices are effective from June 8, 2026.
These phones have been popular in the budget segment due to their strong battery life, decent cameras, and long software support.
Samsung Galaxy A06 5G Becomes Costlier
The Galaxy A06 5G has received a uniform price hike across all storage variants.
The 4GB + 64GB model, which earlier cost ₹13,499, now comes at ₹13,999. The 4GB + 128GB variant has increased from ₹15,499 to ₹15,999. Meanwhile, the 6GB + 128GB version is now priced at ₹17,999 instead of ₹17,499.
Despite the price rise, the phone continues to offer key features like a 50MP main camera, a large battery, and up to six years of OS updates, making it a strong option in the entry-level 5G segment.
Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Also Gets a Price Hike
Samsung has also increased the price of the Galaxy A07 5G by ₹500 across both variants.
The 4GB + 128GB model now costs ₹16,999, up from ₹16,499. The 6GB + 128GB variant has gone up from ₹18,499 to ₹18,999.
The Galaxy A07 5G is known for its large display, 50MP camera setup, and powerful 6000mAh battery, making it suitable for users who want long backup and smooth daily performance.
Key Features of Both Smartphones
Both the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy A07 5G come with a 6.7-inch HD+ display and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.
For photography, both devices offer a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. They also include features like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and Samsung’s One UI software experience.
The main difference is in battery size — the Galaxy A07 5G packs a 6000mAh battery, while the Galaxy A06 5G comes with a 5000mAh unit.
