The Ather Rizta is currently the best-selling electric scooter in Ather Energy’s lineup. Designed mainly for families, the scooter has gained strong popularity since its launch and is now among the top-selling electric scooters in India.
However, buying the Rizta will now cost more. Ather Energy has increased the prices of all Rizta variants from June 1.
Ather Rizta Price Hike: New Variant-Wise Prices
The entry-level S variant with the 2.9kWh battery pack has become Rs 3,000 more expensive. Meanwhile, the Z variant and the S variant equipped with the larger 3.7kWh battery pack have received a price hike of Rs 4,000.

Battery, Range and Charging Details
The Ather Rizta comes with two battery options: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh.
According to the company, the 2.9kWh battery offers a true range of 105km, while the larger 3.7kWh battery delivers a true range of 125km.
The scooter is also claimed to offer a riding range of up to 123km with the smaller battery pack and up to 160km with the larger battery pack. All variants have a top speed of 80km/h.
The 2.9kWh battery takes around 6 hours and 40 minutes to charge fully. The larger 3.7kWh battery can be charged in about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Ather says the battery pack comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. The company also offers a battery warranty of up to 5 years or 60,000km. In addition, buyers get a warranty of 3 years or 30,000km on the scooter.
Smart Features for Everyday Convenience
The Rizta comes loaded with modern features aimed at making daily commuting easier and safer.
It gets reverse mode, which helps riders move the scooter backward with ease. The scooter also features anti-theft protection, live location sharing, and a parking locator that helps users find their vehicle through a smartphone.
For safety, Ather has included a fall detection feature. If the scooter falls while riding, the motor automatically shuts off.
Other highlights include Google Maps navigation, call and music controls, push navigation, and auto-reply SMS functionality.
After a recent OTA update, users also received a refreshed user interface and a new Eco mode. According to Ather, the new Eco mode is designed to improve the balance between performance and riding range.
The Rizta is available in seven color options, including four dual-tone and three single-tone shades.

The Ather Rizta competes with popular electric scooters such as the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak in the Indian market.

The Ather Rizta has achieved a major sales milestone by crossing 3 lakh units in the domestic market.
Launched on April 6, 2024, the electric scooter reached this mark in just 25 months. Its popularity has grown rapidly over the past two years, helping it account for nearly 77% of Ather’s total sales.
Thanks to strong Rizta sales, Ather Energy has climbed to the third position in India’s electric two-wheeler market, behind TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto.
