If you were planning to buy a new Redmi 5G smartphone, you may now have to spend more money. Xiaomi has increased the prices of its popular Redmi 15 5G and Redmi Note 15 5G smartphones in India by up to ₹2,000.
The price hike applies to all storage variants of both smartphones. According to a leaked Xiaomi partner document, the new prices have come into effect from today.
These smartphones became quite popular among users because of their powerful cameras, large batteries, and strong 5G performance.
New Prices of Redmi 15 5G
After the latest price increase, all variants of the Redmi 15 5G are now costlier by ₹2,000.
The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model now costs ₹20,499 instead of ₹18,499.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is now priced at ₹22,499, while earlier it was available for ₹20,499.
The top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model now costs ₹24,499 instead of ₹22,499.
Redmi Note 15 5G Also Gets a Price Hike
Xiaomi has also increased the prices of the Redmi Note 15 5G lineup.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is now priced at ₹26,999. Earlier, it was available for ₹24,999.
The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model now costs ₹29,999 instead of ₹27,999.
Redmi Note 15 5G Features
The Redmi Note 15 5G comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers bright colors and smooth scrolling, making gaming and video watching more enjoyable.
For photography, the smartphone features a 108MP primary camera with AI support. It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
On the front, the phone has a 20MP selfie camera.
