Greaves Electric Mobility has launched an updated version of its popular electric scooter, the Ampere Magnus Neo, in India.

The biggest highlight of this update is that the company has improved the scooter’s look and riding experience without increasing the price.

It still starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹86,999, making it an attractive option in the budget electric scooter segment.

New Colors Make It Look More Stylish

The most noticeable change in the new Magnus Neo is its fresh color lineup.

The scooter now comes in vibrant shades like “Butter Yellow,” along with modern options such as blue, green, and gray. These new colors give the scooter a more stylish and youthful appeal.

However, apart from the new paint options, the overall design and build of the scooter remain unchanged.

Battery, Range and Performance Stay the Same

There are no changes in the scooter’s performance.

The Magnus Neo continues to use a 2.3 kWh LFP battery, which is known for its durability and long lifespan. On a full charge, the scooter offers a range of around 118 km (IDC), which is suitable for daily commuting.

It has a top speed of 65 km/h, and the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in about 5 hours.

Comfortable and Easy for Daily Use

This scooter has been designed keeping everyday riders in mind.

With a seat height of 777 mm, it is easy to handle even for shorter riders. The scooter weighs just 106 kg, making it light and convenient to ride in city traffic.

It can also carry a load of up to 150 kg, which makes it practical for regular use.

Company Focus: Affordable Electric Mobility

According to Vikas Singh, the company aims to make electric vehicles affordable and accessible for everyone.

He added that the updated Magnus Neo is lighter and more comfortable, and has been designed specifically for Indian road conditions.

By offering a fresh look and better usability without increasing the price, the company hopes to strengthen its position in the budget EV market.
