How to Edit Your Instagram Comment
Editing your comment is very simple:
Long-press on your comment
Tap on the “Edit” option
Make your changes and save
After editing, an “Edited” label will appear below the comment. This lets others know that the comment has been modified.
Keep in mind, only text can be edited. If your comment includes a photo, it cannot be changed.
Similar Feature Already on WhatsApp
This feature is not entirely new. WhatsApp already allows users to edit sent messages within 15 minutes.
Just like Instagram, WhatsApp also shows an “edited” tag so others know the message has been changed.
