Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, launched the Redmi Note 15 in January 2026. Now, the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition is set to launch in India on April 2, 2026.
This smartphone will be available on Flipkart, and a microsite for it is already live. The biggest highlight of this special edition is its unique design, which makes it different from the regular model.
The company has introduced it with the tagline “Faster. Bolder. Simply Better,” showing that the phone focuses on both performance and style.
According to the teaser, the phone will come in a red color with a vegan leather finish, giving it a premium feel. It also features golden accents on the edges and around the camera module, making it look more attractive.
This design is expected to be similar to the special edition version launched earlier in China.
Features and Performance
The Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition will have the same features as the standard model. It includes a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smooth and high-quality viewing experience.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which ensures good performance for daily tasks as well as gaming.
Camera and Battery
The smartphone comes with a strong camera setup. It has a 108MP main camera that can capture high-quality photos. Along with this, there is an 8MP secondary camera and a 20MP front camera, which are suitable for selfies and video calls.
In terms of battery, the phone has a large 5520mAh battery that can last a long time. It also supports 45W fast charging, making it convenient for users.
Storage and Software
The device is expected to offer 8GB RAM along with 128GB and 256GB storage options. Users can also expand the storage using a microSD card.
It runs on HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15. This provides a smooth and modern user experience.
Expected Price
The company has not officially announced the price of this special edition yet. However, since the standard Redmi Note 15 5G is priced around ₹21,000, the special edition is expected to cost slightly more.
