In simple terms, BSNL is giving extra validity on its popular prepaid plan without increasing the price. However, this benefit is only available for a limited period and will not continue permanently.
Important Details Before You Recharge
This is a festive promotional offer, not a permanent change. After the offer period ends, the plan will return to its original benefits.
Users can avail this offer only between March 1 and March 31, 2026. So, if you were already planning to recharge, doing it during this period can give you extra value.
BSNL ₹997 Plan: What Has Changed?
Normally, the ₹997 prepaid plan comes with 150 days validity. Under the Holi offer, BSNL has increased the validity to 164 days, which means 14 extra days at no additional cost.
The data benefits remain unchanged. Users will continue to get 2GB high-speed data per day. After the daily limit is used, internet speed will reduce, but data access will still continue.
This plan also includes unlimited voice calling to all networks across India.
For users who rely on BSNL for long-term use—especially in rural areas where BSNL coverage is often preferred—or for those who want a recharge lasting around five and a half months, this extra validity makes the plan more attractive.
How to Avail the Offer

If you use the official app or website, log in, select the ₹997 plan, and complete the payment. On third-party apps, choose BSNL, enter your circle and mobile number, select the plan, and pay.
If the recharge is done during the promotional period, the additional 14 days validity will be automatically added to your plan.
