If you are a customer of State Bank of India and use its digital services, this update is important for you.
The bank has announced a short maintenance shutdown that will temporarily affect some of its online platforms.
Digital Services to Be Down for 30 Minutes
According to a post shared by SBI on X, some digital services will not be available from 1:00 AM to 1:30 AM on February 15, 2026.
The outage will last for just 30 minutes.
However, during this time, the following services will be affected:
Internet Banking
YONO Lite
Merchant Internet Banking
YONO Business Web
SBI Mobile Application
The bank has advised customers to use alternative digital channels if needed during this short window.
SBI has also apologized for the inconvenience and requested customers to cooperate.
Why Is This Happening?
SBI regularly carries out technical upgrades to improve security and performance.
Such maintenance activities help make digital banking safer and more reliable in the long run.
The bank has clarified that this is a scheduled upgrade and services will resume shortly after 1:30 AM.
If you have any urgent payments planned around that time, it would be wise to complete them in advance.
SBI’s Strong Financial Performance
Alongside this update, SBI has also reported strong financial results for the third quarter of FY26.
The bank’s profit rose by 24.5% year-on-year to Rs 21,028.15 crore in the October–December quarter.
In the same period last year, the profit stood at Rs 16,891.44 crore.
In the previous quarter (Q2 FY26), the bank had reported a profit of Rs 20,159.67 crore.
SBI’s Net Interest Income (NII) also increased by 9% year-on-year to Rs 45,190 crore, compared to Rs 41,446 crore in the same quarter last year.
These results reflect steady growth, even as the bank continues to invest in upgrading its digital infrastructure.
For customers, the key takeaway is simple: expect a brief 30-minute pause in digital services on February 15, and plan important transactions accordingly.
