Google has officially confirmed that its next budget-friendly smartphone, the Pixel 10a, is launching soon.
The company shared the launch timeline and design details through a short teaser video.
While Google has not revealed the full specifications yet, several details have surfaced through leaks and industry reports.
Pixel 10a Launch Date and Pre-Order Details
Google has confirmed that Pixel 10a pre-orders will begin on February 18, 2026.
In India, Google is offering early access to users who sign up on the Google Store mailing list before February 13.
The official teaser confirms the launch, while most hardware details are still based on leaks.
For reference, the Pixel 9a was launched in March last year, making this release slightly earlier.
Pixel 10a Design and Colour Options
The teaser video shows a major design change on the Pixel 10a.
The phone appears to remove the raised camera bar and instead features a flat rear camera module that sits flush with the back.
It is expected to come with a metal frame, thick bezels, and a centre-aligned hole-punch camera on the front.
Google showcased the phone in a blue colour.
Leaks suggest more colour options, including Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and a reddish shade called Berry.
Expected Specifications of Pixel 10a
Although not officially confirmed, leaks suggest the Pixel 10a may feature a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits peak brightness.
The smartphone is expected to run on Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, along with the Titan M2 security chip.
It may come with 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.
The Pixel 10a could pack a 5,100mAh battery with support for fast wired charging and wireless charging.
It is also expected to launch with Android 16 out of the box.
Google may continue its update promise, offering seven years of OS and security updates.
Camera Features (Leaked)
Leaks suggest a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor featuring optical image stabilisation and a 13MP ultra-wide camera.
On the front, the Pixel 10a may include a 13MP selfie camera with support for 4K video recording.
Expected Price in India
As per leaks, the Pixel 10a is expected to be priced at Rs 49,999 for the 128GB variant in India.
The 256GB version is likely to cost more.
