The government has extended the deadline for correcting e-KYC errors under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, bringing relief to many women beneficiaries.
The new deadline to update incorrect details is March 31, 2026.
This decision was announced by the State Government’s Women and Child Development Department after receiving continuous complaints from beneficiaries and local offices.
Why the e-KYC Correction Window Was Reopened
According to a government review, most women completed their e-KYC on time for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
However, many applications got stuck due to mistakes made during the verification process.
Because of incorrect entries or technical issues, several eligible women were wrongly marked as ineligible.
To fix this, the government has reopened the online correction facility.
Women beneficiaries are advised to log in to the official portal, check their details carefully, and correct any errors as soon as possible to avoid problems in receiving scheme benefits.
Who Can Update e-KYC Details
The government has clearly stated that this correction facility is only for women who completed their e-KYC process by December 31, 2025.
New applicants will not be allowed to use this option.
Only existing beneficiaries who met the earlier deadline can make corrections.
Final Deadline and Important Warning
The Women and Child Development Department has updated the official portal to make the correction process easier.
However, this is a one-time opportunity.
No changes will be accepted after March 31, 2026.
Women who fail to correct their details before this date may permanently lose access to the scheme’s benefits.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to act quickly and ensure their information is accurate to continue receiving support under the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
