IRCTC launches 10-day Kashi to Gangasagar tour package

IRCTC has launched a special rail tour for devotees and travel lovers who want to explore some of the most important temples and heritage sites in eastern India.

Named the Divine East Temple Tour, this journey will be operated on the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train and will run for 10 days.

The tour is designed to offer a comfortable and well-planned pilgrimage experience, covering major religious and cultural destinations in one trip.

Key Destinations Covered in the Tour

The journey will start from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi and will take passengers through several iconic spiritual locations.

In Varanasi, travelers will visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga and witness the famous Ganga Aarti.

The tour will then move to Kolkata, where key attractions include the Victoria Memorial, Kalighat Shaktipeeth, and Dakshineswar Kali Temple.

Another major highlight is Gangasagar, where pilgrims can take a holy dip at the confluence and visit the Kapil Muni Temple.

From there, the tour proceeds to Puri for darshan at the Sri Jagannath Temple.

The Odisha circuit includes Bhubaneswar, Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, and the Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The final religious stop is Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

The tour will end with a return journey to Delhi on March 18, 2026.

Train Facilities and Travel Experience

The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train offers AC-1, AC-2, and AC-3 class cabins for a comfortable journey.

Passengers will be served pure vegetarian meals in the onboard restaurant.

The package also includes improved security arrangements and dedicated tour managers to assist travelers throughout the journey.

Tour Package Price and Booking Details

The tour price is set at Rs 1,06,940 per person for AC-1 class, Rs 98,925 for AC-2 class, and Rs 79,285 for AC-3 class.

The package covers train travel, accommodation in air-conditioned hotels, all meals, sightseeing, travel insurance, and tour management services.
