Compared to other TVS scooters, this increase is considered relatively high. When compared with the recent price hike of the TVS Ntorq 125, the Jupiter appears to be more affected.

Possible Reasons for the Price Increase

TVS has not officially stated the reason for the price hike. However, it is believed that rising production costs, higher raw material prices, and increased operational expenses may be the main reasons.

Recently, TVS has also increased the prices of other models like the TVS Radeon and Star City Plus.

No Mechanical Changes in Jupiter 110

Apart from the price increase, there are no changes in the TVS Jupiter 110. The scooter continues to use the same engine and features.

It is powered by a 113.3cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.91 bhp and 9.80 Nm of torque. This means its fuel efficiency, performance, and ride quality remain the same as before.

Is TVS Jupiter Still a Good Choice?

The TVS Jupiter is still one of the most reliable scooters in India. It is known for its comfortable ride, good mileage, and family-friendly design.

Even after the price hike, it continues to compete strongly with popular scooters like the Honda Activa and Suzuki Access.
