Boost to Tourism and Local Economy
According to Vikrant Singh, station manager at Air India Express, direct international flights to destinations like Bangkok will increase foreign tourist arrivals in Varanasi.
This boost will help the tourism sector, hotels, local businesses, and employment opportunities.
The flight is also important for Varanasi from a religious tourism perspective, making it easier for devotees and travelers to plan trips abroad.
