Jeep India has launched the updated 2026 Jeep Meridian in India. This three-row SUV is priced starting at ₹30.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
With the new model-year update, Jeep has introduced an important feature that will benefit families and long-distance travelers — sliding second-row seats. This feature is available in the Limited and Overland variants.
More Flexible and Comfortable Cabin
The biggest update in the 2026 Jeep Meridian is the new second-row seating arrangement. The second-row seats can now slide forward and backward by 140mm, allowing users to adjust space based on their needs.
This helps improve legroom for the second and third rows or increase boot space when required.
The 40:60 split second-row seats can slide up to 310mm, while the smaller seat slides up to 290mm. These seats can also tilt forward by up to 33 degrees, making entry and exit from the third row much easier.
For better comfort, the seat torso angle is 23 degrees, with an additional 12 degrees of recline.
Design Remains the Same with Premium Feel
In terms of design, the 2026 Jeep Meridian remains unchanged. It continues to feature Jeep’s signature 7-slot grille, LED lighting, and a strong road presence.
Inside the cabin, the SUV maintains its premium feel, with soft-touch materials and improved interior finishes.
Features and Technology
The 2026 Jeep Meridian continues to offer a strong set of features. These include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, and leatherette upholstery.
On the technology front, the SUV comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Jeep’s Uconnect connected car technology offers over 30 connected features, including remote vehicle functions and real-time diagnostics.
Strong Focus on Safety
Safety is another strong area for the 2026 Jeep Meridian. The SUV offers more than 70 active and passive safety features.
Select variants also come equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), enhancing safety during highway driving.
Engine and Performance Details
There are no mechanical changes in the 2026 model. The SUV continues to use the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, producing 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
Jeep’s Select-Terrain 4×4 system is also available on select variants. As per the company, the ARAI-certified mileage is up to 16.25 kmpl.

The updated 2026 Jeep Meridian is priced starting at ₹30.01 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the overall Jeep Meridian range in India continues to be priced from ₹23.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
