At the start of the New Year, Vivo has surprised its users by increasing the prices of some of its popular budget 5G smartphones.
The Vivo Y31 and Vivo Y31 Pro 5G, which were earlier known for their affordable pricing, have now become costlier by up to ₹2,000. This price hike has made both models more expensive than before.
Earlier, the Vivo Y31 was available in India at a starting price of ₹14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant was priced at ₹16,499.
After the latest revision, the 4GB RAM version is now priced at ₹16,999, and the 6GB RAM variant is being sold for ₹18,499.
Vivo Y31 5G: New Prices in India
The Vivo Y31 5G is sold in two variants in the Indian market. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which earlier cost ₹14,999, is now available at ₹16,999.
Similarly, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant has seen a price increase from ₹16,499 to ₹18,499.
Vivo Y31 Pro 5G: Updated Pricing
The Vivo Y31 Pro 5G has also received a price hike across both its variants. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version, which was earlier priced at ₹18,999, is now available for ₹19,999.
Meanwhile, the top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant has gone up from ₹20,999 to ₹21,999.
Vivo Y31 and Y31 Pro 5G: Features and Specifications
Both the Vivo Y31 and Vivo Y31 Pro 5G come with large LCD displays of around 6.6 inches. In terms of performance, the Vivo Y31 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.
The smartphones are backed by a large 6,500mAh battery and support 44W fast charging for quicker top-ups.
For photography, the phones feature a 50MP primary rear camera that delivers clear and detailed daylight photos, along with an 8MP front camera for selfies. Additionally, both models offer a military-grade build, adding to their durability.
