The partnership will allow Jio Unlimited 5G plan users to access Google’s latest AI models for free, marking a huge step in making AI accessible to the masses.

Free 18-Month Google AI Pro Plan for Jio Users

As part of this initiative, Jio users will receive a complimentary 18-month subscription to Google’s AI Pro plan, which includes access to Google Gemini, the company’s most advanced AI model.

The offer, announced by Josh Woodward, VP at Google Labs & Gemini, and Shimrit Ben-Yair, VP at Google Photos & Google One, is valued at around ₹35,100 per user.

Initially, the plan will be available to users aged 18 to 25, before expanding to all eligible Jio users across India.

Under this partnership, subscribers will gain access to several premium Google AI and cloud tools, including:

Gemini 2.5 Pro: Access to Google’s most powerful AI model for text and research.

Creative AI Tools: Ability to create realistic images and videos using Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models.

NotebookLM: Expanded use of Google’s research and study tool.

Cloud Storage: A massive 2 TB storage across Google Photos, Gmail, Drive, and WhatsApp backups.

This partnership aims to make world-class AI utilities as common as mobile data, ensuring everyone from students to entrepreneurs can benefit from the technology.

Google executives said they are “excited to expand access to our most powerful AI models” and see how people in India use them to improve daily life.

Eligible Jio users can activate this AI and cloud bundle directly through the MyJio app.
