PM-KISAN 21st Installment Expected in Early November

The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is likely to be released in the first week of November 2025, just before the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November 6 and 11.

Earlier, payments of ₹2,000 each had already been made to farmers in Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan released these installments in September and October to help farmers who suffered losses due to floods and landslides.

Although there has been no official announcement yet, media reports suggest that the next installment may be released before the Bihar elections.

The Model Code of Conduct for the elections is already in place, which means no new schemes can be launched, but payments for already approved schemes, such as PM-KISAN, can still be processed.
