Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the G-Class 450d in India on October 13.
The G 450d features the most powerful diesel engine in the Mercedes-Benz lineup.
Powered by a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine, the car produces 270 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque.
It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds.
The ex-showroom price starts at Rs 2.90 crore, with only 50 units available in the first phase for select customers.
With this launch, Mercedes-Benz now offers diesel, petrol, and electric options in its G-Class portfolio in India.
Performance and Engine Highlights
The G 450d comes with a 48-volt electrical system and an integrated starter generator (ISG) that adds 15 kW of support at low speeds.
Its all-wheel drive system and 750 Nm torque ensure strong performance on and off-road.
The vehicle has a top speed of 210 km/h and delivers a thrilling driving experience for luxury SUV enthusiasts.
