Reliance Jio has reached a major milestone by crossing 50 crore users. The company is celebrating its 9th anniversary on 5th September with this achievement.
With this, Jio has become the world’s largest mobile data network. According to the company, its user base is now larger than the combined populations of the US, UK, and France.
To mark the occasion, Jio has launched special offers for its customers. Let’s take a look at them in detail.
Jio 9th Anniversary Offers
From 5th September to 5th October, Jio is giving 1 month of unlimited data to users on plans starting at Rs 349.
Right now, unlimited 5G data is only available for 5G smartphone users with plans of Rs 349 or higher.
Jio is also offering unlimited free data on weekends (5th to 7th September) for all 5G smartphone users, no matter which plan they have. For 4G users, unlimited data is available at Rs 39, with a 3GB limit.
A special celebration plan priced at Rs 349 has also been launched. This plan includes extra data and a subscription voucher worth Rs 3,000.
The voucher can be used on services like JioHotstar, JioSaavn Pro, Zomato, Netmeds, Reliance Digital, AJIO, and EaseMyTrip.
Customers who recharge this plan 12 times in a row will get the 13th recharge absolutely free.
For home broadband users, Jio is offering 2 months of JioHome services at Rs 1,200.
This includes access to 1,000+ TV channels, unlimited data, and over 12 OTT platforms. The plan also comes with Amazon Prime Lite and Digital Gold rewards.
Jio announced that new services will be launched throughout the year as part of its anniversary celebrations.
The aim is to offer affordable and high-quality connectivity across India. Jio’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani, also shared plans to expand Jio’s services to other countries.
