If you are planning to travel during this festive season, there’s good news. Indian Railways has introduced a special ‘Round Trip Scheme’.
Under this scheme, you will get a 20% direct discount on fares if you book both onward and return tickets together.
You can book these tickets through the new RailOne app or from offline counters.
On Which Trains and Dates Is the Offer Available?
The scheme applies to all trains booked under the Advance Reservation Period (ARP).
Fixed travel dates for this scheme are:
Onward Journey (Departure): Between October 13 and October 26, 2025
Return Journey: Between November 17 and December 1, 2025
How to Book Through the RailOne App
Download & Login
The RailOne app is available on both Android and iOS.
Log in using mPIN or biometric after installing.
Select Scheme
Go to the ‘Avail Festive Package’ section in the app.
Book Onward Ticket
Enter your station and choose a date between 13–26 October 2025.
Make the payment and get your PNR number.
Book Return Ticket with Discount
Select the ‘Book Return Ticket (20% Discount)’ option.
Passenger details, stations, and class will be auto-filled.
Choose a return date between 17 November–1 December 2025.
Make the payment and the 20% discount will be applied.
Things to Keep in Mind
The discount is valid only if both tickets (onward and return) are booked together.
Tickets booked outside the mentioned dates will not get any discount.
This offer can also be availed from offline counters.
