Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Launched in India (Price Details)

The word “Kuro” comes from Japanese and means “black,” which is why this edition is based entirely on a black theme.

Key Features of the Magnite Kuro Edition

The Magnite Kuro Edition is designed with an all-black theme that gives it a bold and classy appearance. It comes in a unique ‘Onyx Black’ paint, enhancing its overall look.

Black elements are used on the front and rear bumpers, grille, roof rails, and alloy wheels, adding to its premium feel.

In contrast, the Magnite badging is finished in shiny chrome, which stands out beautifully against the black design. A special ‘KURO’ badge is also added to make it easily recognizable as this edition.

Inside, the SUV follows the same black theme. Everything including the dashboard, steering wheel, roof lining, and center console is done in black, giving it a rich and premium interior.

The Kuro Edition is based on the N-Connecta variant, so it includes high-end features like dual digital screens, an Arkamys audio system for excellent sound quality, auto-dimming rearview mirror (IRVM), i-Key with automatic unlocking, rear AC vents with climate control, and an illuminated glove box.

Engine and Performance

The Kuro Edition uses the same engines as the regular Magnite. There are two engine choices:

  1. A 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 71 bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. A CNG version is also available with this engine.

  2. A 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 98 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.

Price Details

Nissan has launched the Magnite Kuro Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹8.30 lakh.

Customers can book it both online and offline by paying a booking amount of ₹11,000.

This special black edition is offered in Tecna, Tecna+, and N-Connecta variants, along with a metallic grey color option.

The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is placed in the compact SUV segment.

It competes directly with other popular models like the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kushaq.
