Yamaha India has launched the new 2025 FZ-X Hybrid motorcycle, now featuring a hybrid powertrain.
This updated model comes equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) that offers silent start and start/stop technology for better fuel efficiency
and smoother rides. It also gets a stylish 4.2-inch color TFT display to enhance the digital riding experience.
The Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid has been launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹1.49 lakh.
Engine and Powertrain Details
The hybrid FZ-X is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, just like other FZ models. This engine produces 12.4 bhp of maximum power
and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, offering a balanced performance for everyday commuting and short trips.
How It Differs from Other FZ Models
While the overall design remains similar to the regular FZ-X, the hybrid version is slightly heavier, weighing 141 kg — about 2 kg more than the standard model. This added weight is due to the hybrid technology.
When it comes to pricing:
The FZ-X Hybrid costs ₹20,000 more than the standard FZ-X
It is also ₹5,000 more expensive than the FZ-S Hybrid
