Bajaj Pulsar N150 Discontinued from Official Website

The Bajaj Pulsar series has long been one of the most popular motorcycle lineups in India, especially in the premium commuter segment.

However, not all models have enjoyed equal success. One such model is the Pulsar N150, which has now been removed from Bajaj Auto’s official website. Let’s understand why.

Decline in Sales of 150cc Pulsars

Earlier, Bajaj offered two 150cc models: the Classic Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar N150. In May 2025, the company sold a total of 15,937 units of these 150cc bikes in India.

This is a sharp drop compared to 29,386 units sold in May 2024, showing that sales have nearly halved over a year.

In contrast, Bajaj sold 22,372 units of its 160cc models — the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar NS160 — in the same month. This indicates that customers now prefer the more powerful 160cc Pulsars.

Reports suggest that out of the 15,937 units of 150cc Pulsars sold, the majority were Classic Pulsar 150, with the N150 contributing less.

This low demand may have led Bajaj to discontinue the N150 from the market.

Pulsar N150: Engine and Features

The Pulsar N150 came with a 149.68cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivered 14.3bhp of power

and 13.5Nm of peak torque. It was paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Key features included:

Single-channel ABS

90-section front and 120-section rear tyres

17-inch alloy wheels

Fully digital instrument cluster

Despite these features, the Pulsar N150 struggled to attract buyers, leading to its quiet exit from Bajaj’s lineup.
