PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Millions of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana.
Based on past records and trends, the government may release this installment sometime in June.
However, no official date has been announced yet. The 19th installment was given in February. Now everyone is waiting to see when the next payment will be made.
What is the PM-Kisan Yojana?
This scheme started in 2019. Under it, small and marginal farmers receive ₹6,000 every year. The amount is given in three parts of ₹2,000 each, and it is directly transferred to the farmer’s bank account.
When Will the Next Installment Be Released?
The 20th installment of PM-Kisan could be released anytime between April and July 2025. It is likely to come in June, but the exact date and schedule have not been announced yet.
What Are the Rules to Receive ₹2,000 Under PM Kisan Yojana?
e-KYC must be completed.
Aadhaar must be linked to the bank account.
Land records must be verified.
If these steps are not completed, the farmer will not receive the installment.
How to Complete e-KYC?
Visit pmkisan.gov.in and complete OTP-based e-KYC.
Or visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric e-KYC.
The government ran a saturation drive across the country until May 2025 to help farmers complete these steps in time.
Who Is Eligible for This Scheme?
Must be a citizen of India.
Must own cultivable land in their name.
Must be a small or marginal farmer.
Should not be a taxpayer.
Pension should not exceed ₹10,000.
How Can Farmers Check Their Status or Register?
To check your status:
Go to pmkisan.gov.in → Click on Know Your Status → Enter your registration details.
To check if your name is in the list:
Click on Beneficiary List on the website → Choose your State, District, and Block → Click on Get Report.
To register as a new farmer:
Use the New Farmer Registration option on the website and follow the instructions.
