2025 Skoda Kodiaq Launched with New Look (Design and Price)

Skoda India has launched the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq in the Indian market. The first version of the Kodiaq came out in 2018, and now the updated version is here.

The new Kodiaq is available in two variants and starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹46,89,000.

Skoda has brought this SUV in two trims – Sportline and Laurin & Klement. Buyers will also have seven color options to choose from.

Skoda Kodiaq Earns 5-Star Safety Rating

The new Kodiaq has received a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. In terms of safety, it has performed very well. Skoda has also added new features to make the SUV more premium than before.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine produces 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque.

It comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The SUV also includes an all-wheel-drive (4×4) system, allowing it to handle different road conditions easily.

Design and Features

On the outside, the Kodiaq features redesigned bumpers, LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, C-shaped LED tail lights, roof rails, and a light-up front grille.

Inside, it offers a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch fully digital driver display.

Other features include 3-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, and a two-spoke steering wheel.

Tech and Competition

The SUV supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is wireless charging for two phones, and it has a bold design with large alloy wheels and sleek LED headlamps.

It also offers automatic parking and 281 liters of boot space. Several smart storage areas have also been added.

The Skoda Kodiaq will directly compete with the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster in the Indian market.
