Until now, these platforms delivered food, groceries, electronics, and more. But now, you can also order a SIM card online — thanks to a new partnership between Bharti Airtel and Blinkit.
Get Your SIM in 10 Minutes
Bharti Airtel announced on Tuesday that it has teamed up with Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, to deliver SIM cards to customers within 10 minutes.
In the first phase, this service is available in 16 major Indian cities:
Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonepat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
The service will be extended to more cities soon.
SIM Card Delivery for Just ₹49
As per the official statement, customers will be charged ₹49 for home delivery of the SIM card.
After receiving it, customers can activate their number using Aadhaar-based KYC verification, as per the government rules.
