Tata Motors India is celebrating the 27th anniversary of the Safari. To mark the occasion, the company has introduced the Stealth Edition of its Safari and Harrier SUVs.
This limited edition will have only 2,700 units available for sale. The special edition features cosmetic upgrades that set it apart from the standard models.
Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, stated, “Tata Motors has been a leader in India’s SUV segment for a long time.
The Tata Safari, which pioneered the lifestyle SUV concept in the country, is now celebrating its 27th anniversary with the launch of a special Stealth Edition.”
Special Features of the New Stealth Edition
The Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition are built on the strong OMEGARC platform, which is derived from the renowned Land Rover D8 platform.
This special edition comes with an all-new stealth matte black finish, giving both SUVs a more striking and premium appearance.
The Harrier Stealth Edition is priced at Rs 25.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Safari Stealth Edition, available in both 6-seater and 7-seater options, starts at Rs 25.74 lakh.

Power and Performance
The Safari and Harrier Stealth Edition retain their existing powertrains, with no mechanical changes.
Both SUVs are equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine that delivers 165.70 HP of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Features
Both models share similar features, but the main difference lies in the exterior paint and the fully black leatherette upholstery inside.
This gives the cabin a more luxurious feel. The SUVs are equipped with 19-inch black alloy wheels and feature a voice-assisted dual-zone automatic climate control system.
Other notable features include a 31.24 cm Harman touchscreen infotainment system, the Arcade app store for entertainment, Alexa Home 2 Car for remote connectivity, inbuilt Map My India navigation, a 26.03 cm digital instrument cluster, and an immersive JBL 10-speaker audio system with Harman Audioworks. Additionally, it includes a sliding armrest and a sprinkler nozzle.
Safety is top-notch
The Stealth Edition offers excellent safety features, including the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which comes with the Intelligent Speed Assist feature (a first in the segment).
It also includes 7 airbags and 21 functionalities, such as ESP with 17 safety functions, making it one of the safest SUVs in its category.
