Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Monday that the ‘Develop Delhi’ budget for 2025-26 will be presented in the Assembly between March 24 and 26.
Speaking at a press conference, she highlighted that the budget will be prepared after considering inputs from various sections of society.
“To make it a people’s budget, we will meet representatives of different women’s organizations at the Assembly complex on March 5.
Additionally, we will hold discussions with education sector stakeholders and traders on March 6,” she stated, as reported by PTI.
Public Participation and Government Commitments
The Chief Minister also shared contact details, including an email ID and WhatsApp number, for residents to send their budget recommendations.
She assured that all promises made in the BJP’s Sankalp Patra would be fulfilled and emphasized that her government is working at full speed to achieve these goals.
Further, Gupta mentioned that two CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) reports have already been tabled in the Assembly, revealing several corruption allegations against the previous AAP government.
She added that 12 more CAG reports are yet to be presented, and further irregularities are expected to come to light.
The press conference was attended by Cabinet Ministers Parvesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa.
